RL Web Solutions project development flow is divided into following stages:
- Information Gathering
- Design
- Graphic Design
- Sitemap/Navigation Design
- Development
- Quality Assurance
- Website Demonstration
- Launch
- Post Launch
Initiate
Based on the requirements submitted by the client and the initial call, RL Web Solutions will work on the quote. The itemized invoice is sent to the customer. The invoice will include the project duration.
Design
This is the most crucial step to a successful Web site project.
Graphic Design
Once the quote is approved by the client, the Graphics Designer will start working on the Web site design. We will present three Web site design options to the client.
Sitemap/Navigation Design
Navigation is the key for any Web site. RL Web Solutions will work on the first draft. Sitemap Design will include the number of pages on the Web site and each page's
accessibility within the Web site.
Development
In the development stage, RL Web Solutions will start working on the project. The home page and second level design templates are completed by the Graphic Designer and are forwarded to the Web developer.
Web site Content
As the client knows the business best, it is your responsibility to provide the content for your Web site. For an additional fee, you may request RL Web solutions Content Writers to assist in creating your content for you.
Quality Assurance
The project is sent to the Quality Assurance team after the Web developer completes your Web site. Our QA team ensures the following:
- The HTML pages match the templates created by the Graphic Designer.
- All the static second level pages were built.
- All the dynamic second level pages match the second level designs and function as expected.
- The content is free of errors, if content created by our Content Writers.
- The Web pages are tested in Firefox 3.x and Internet Explorer 7.x or higher.
Website Demonstration
After the project is approved by Quality Assurance team, RL Web Solutions will schedule a design demonstration. The client will have an additional 2 days to test the functionality of the product.
Any bugs/changes must be submitted using the Client Interface. All the bugs and feature requests will be reviewed by Project Manager (Please refer to the Payments Policy).
Launch
The final product will not launch without the client's approval. RL Web Solutions will be responsible for the launch. The Web site files will be released to client until all payments have been received.
We will ensure:
- The files are uploaded at the location provided by the client.
- The Web site or product is QA'ed by the Quality Assurance team on the client's server.
- For dynamic projects, RL Web Solutions will provide a Web site user guide.
- If Website domain name is new, RL Web Solutions will submit your domain name to major search engines and directories for inclusion.
Post-Launch
The project will be open for 3 days after the Launch for the client to do QA. During this phase, clients can submit bugs using the Client Interface. After 3 days, project will be closed and client will not be able
to submit any new bugs or feature requests without opening a new project request. RL Web Solutions will resolve all the open bugs before closing a project. (Please refer to our Payments policy)
